Smoking To Be Prohibited At Remaining Public Parks And Gardens, ABC Waters Sites And 10 Recreational Beaches From 1 July 2022

JOINT ADVISORY BETWEEN NEA, NPARKS, PUB AND SDC

Singapore, 29 June 2022 – From 1 July 2022, smoking will be prohibited at the three new types of premises listed below, as earlier announced during the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment’s Committee of Supply Debate on 7 March 2022. To provide members of the public with sufficient time to adjust, in the first three months of the smoking prohibition extension, those caught smoking in the newly prohibited places will receive verbal advisories. Enforcement action will take effect from 1 October 2022[1].
