bizSAFE - level star

The Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council under the Ministry of Manpower organizes a program called “bizSAFE” which is a nationally recognised capability building programme designed to help companies build workplace safety and health capabilities.

bizSAFE STAR is the highest level which recognises that the company’s Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) identifies, manages and controls workplace risks or hazards in compliance with the WSH Act and international standards such as ISO 45001.

ISO 9001 : 2015
ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard that can be certified to (although this is not a requirement). It can be used by any organization, large or small, regardless of its field of activity. The certificate of HLS is reviewed under the scope of recycling of electronics and electrical waste.

ISO 14001 : 2015
ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. HLS obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification as we intend to manage our environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

ISO 45001 : 2018
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. Our ISO 45001:2018 certification demonstrates that we have provided safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving the OH&S performance.

Responsible Recycling Standard (R2) certification

R2 certification is a globally recognized certification for electronic recyclers, based on an independent audit, is the key operating standard for the electronic recycling industry.

Certified Recycling Service Provider

HSL has been certified by National Environment Agency as a recycling service provider under national voluntary partnership for e-waste recycling.

TAPA-APAC

TAPA-APAC The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) is a unique forum that unites global manufacturers, logistics providers, freight carriers, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders with the common aim of reducing losses from international supply chains. The TAPA certificate show as a transporter or shipper that the security of the fleet is preventively protected against cargo theft by the supply chain. A TAPA certification ensures demonstrable quality with access control, employee checks, perimeter security, intruder security devices, monitoring systems, high-value storage areas and transit delays.
